"I have the V3 and for the most part the watch and the app work fine (as others have pointed out, the bluetooth connection is spotty, and sometimes I will have to force close the app, and even log out, log back in, in order to get it to connect between the app and my V3 for it to sync successfully). When the courses are mapped correctly, the V3 works great as a yardage and hazard reference, and they also have support for courses that have dual greens per hole. The main issue I have is with the course mapping. It may depend on which country, but I live in Japan, and so far the courses have been about 50% mapped correctly. They show up as available in the app, but there is no way to confirm the details ahead of time, so I usually find out when I arrive at the course that the mapping is incorrect (front/back flipped, or courses with 3 nines where all three are mapped as different nines, and in worst cases it will not find the course as it's mapped in another location, etc). The support is very responsive and they will usually get it fixed, but in Japan, more often, I play new courses once and then not again for either a long time or ever, so this makes the device virtually useless about half the time. This could be very easily remedied by making the course mapping details visible online on their site, like many other devices do, but that is not available and is a bit of a sticking point for me. If this doesn't improve, I will most likely look for another device when I'm ready for an upgrade."

"I have used the v2 for a few years trouble free then upgraded to the v3. Unfortunately I can't say the same thing for it. I cant get it to link to my phone on a regulator basis the Bluetooth connection is hit and miss (like my golf game). Have uninstalled the software several times and have tried the things customer services have advised buy its still the same. I have never managed to get it to update the firmware due to this poor connection issue. Unfortunately there is no way to connect the watch hardwired to download firmware."
